Handling of Personal Information

"Hama no Utase", which is directly managed by Arida Minoshima Fisheries Cooperative, has established the following personal information protection policy, has built a mechanism for personal information protection, and we will promote the protection of personal information by making all employees aware of the importance of personal information protection.

Management of personal information

"Hama no Utase", which is directly managed by Arida Minoshima Fisheries Cooperative, maintains a security system to keep customer's personal information accurate and up-to-date and to prevent incidences such as: unauthorized access, loss, damage, falsification, leakage of personal information. We will take necessary measures such as maintenance of our security system as well as our management system, and thorough employee education. We will also implement security measures, and strictly manage personal information.

Purpose of using personal information

Personal information entrusted to us by our customers will be used for sending emails and materials as a response to inquiries, business guidance and inquiries from "Hama no Utase" directly managed by Arida Minoshima Fisheries Cooperative.

Prohibition of disclosure and provision of personal information to third parties

"Hama no Utase", which is directly managed by Arida Minoshima Fisheries Cooperative, manages personal information entrusted to us by customers appropriately and does not disclose personal information to third parties except in the following cases:

  • When the customer's prior consent or agreement is obtained
  • When disclosing personal information to a contractor outsourced by "Hama no Utase", directly managed by Arida Minoshima Fisheries Cooperative, to provide a service desired by the customer
  • When it is necessary to comply with laws and regulations

    If the customer wishes to inquire, correct, or delete his/her own personal information, we will respond after confirming the inquirers identity.

    "Hama no Utase", which is directly managed by Arida Minoshima Fisheries Cooperative, will comply with Japanese laws and regulations applicable to our customer’s personal information and other norms. We continue to review the contents of this policy as appropriate, and strive to improve it.
